Meanwhile, if it is pathologic, further laboratory testing might be requested to point out what’s triggering the development of man boobs.

After ascertaining the cause of the problem, the doctor will now present the patient with several treatment options on how to get rid of man boobs. Depending on the lab results, extent of the problem, and the length of the gynecomastia, the doctor can suggest hormonal therapy, pharmacological management, diet and exercise, and for severe cases, surgery.
